Katy Perry spent the day in Ibiza working on her latest project, filming a new music video on the beach. Despite the backlash from her recent single “Woman’s World,” the pop star appeared carefree and in good spirits.

Sporting a tiny zebra-print bikini, Perry accessorized with sparkling jewelry, including layered necklaces, a choker, a translucent charmed necklace, and shimmering dangly earrings. She embraced the beach-day vibes with her long, black hair down in loose waves, running barefoot through the sandy beach and spreading her arms with a glowing smile.

Throughout the shoot, Perry was seen with her video team and took a dip into the water with her co-stars. At one point, she clutched a paddle in one hand, guiding a kayak to shore with the other. In other scenes, she covered up with a crocheted white dress, lounging on a larger boat, enjoying a mixed drink and snacking on watermelon and bananas. The star added a boho belt and shades to complete her sunny day look.

Earlier on July 24, Perry was also seen filming in Barcelona, where she shared a steamy kiss with an Orlando Bloom look-alike. For this shoot, she wore a one-piece bodysuit with deep cutouts, silver undies, and glimmering silver leg warmers.

The recent backlash stems from her single “Woman’s World.” Fans were displeased to learn that Perry worked with Dr. Luke, who has been accused of sexual assault by Kesha. The track and music video were criticized for not delivering the feminist anthem that Perry had intended.

One fan expressed on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Katy Perry receiving her lashings is the most pleasing to me because KatyKats deserve it. Making fun of Kesha’s assault as well as poking fun at her low-budget promo. Meanwhile, Katy spent millions for promo & was given a critically panned flop. Congratulations.”
Another criticized: “Cannot be overstated how evil it is to make a song called ‘Women’s World’ with the music video echoing back to 40s WWII era egalitarianism (not feminism) on a song produced by a monstrous rapist after your past attempt to do a feminism flopped so hard it created the term ‘flop.'”
Despite the criticisms, Perry continues to work on her music, hoping to connect with fans through her upcoming projects.
