Keanu Reeves enters professional auto racing, finishing 25th in the Toyota GR Cup at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
BollywoodFever: Keanu Reeves just revved up his career with his professional auto racing debut at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, driving the No. 92 BRZRKR car—a nod to his graphic novel The Book of Elsewhere. The 60-year-old Matrix star competed in the Toyota GR Cup on Saturday, October 5, finishing in 25th place.
During the race, Reeves had a heart-pounding moment when his car spun into the grass after exiting Turn 9 but miraculously avoided a crash. The actor remained calm, re-entered the race, and continued unscathed, impressing fans with his resilience.
This isn’t Reeves’ first foray into racing. He previously competed in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach celebrity race, where he was crowned undefeated champion back in 2009.
Accompanied by teammate Cody Jones, Reeves showcased his versatility and passion for racing beyond his Hollywood stardom. Following his racing debut, he is set to attend the 30th-anniversary screening of Speed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 8, alongside co-star Sandra Bullock.
On the film front, Reeves is preparing for his return to action with the highly anticipated John Wick spinoff, Ballerina, slated for release in 2025.
