Although the Undertaker character appears in this movie, it isn’t actually the real Undertaker played by Mark Calaway, it is professional wrestler Brian Lee.
Akshay Kumar and Rekha began an affair during the making of this film.
During a fight scene Akshay Kumar had to lift Brian Lee as “The Undertaker following which Akshay Kumar suffered a back injury and was hospitalized for sometime.
This was the first time WWF wrestlers were seen in Hindi films.
Dimple Kapadia was offered Rekha’s role but she turned it down.
Rekha won Filmfare Best Supporting Actress award for the film.
The film was set in Canada (Toronto) where the illegal wrestling takes place.
