Bollywood Fever: Kim Kardashian celebrated her daughter North West‘s 11th birthday in New York City on Saturday, stepping out with North and close friends for a special day. The SKIMS founder, 43, who recently made headlines in Calabasas, was seen joining North and her friends at Paint Me Bear, an art studio in Manhattan.
Kim sported a short-sleeved, light gray shirt paired with a fitted, dark gray tank top, and gray leggings. She completed the look with open-toed pumps, stylish gray-rimmed shades, and a fuzzy, cream-colored purse. Her platinum hair, parted in the middle, flowed past her shoulders in light waves.
North, who turned 11 on Saturday, wore an excited smile as she followed her mother. She and her friends donned pink ‘I [heart] NY’ pajama bottoms and matching black shirts reading ‘North’s 11th birthday party.’ Kim was accompanied by friends La La Anthony and media personality Kai Cenat during the celebration. They were seen stepping onto a party bus as the summer sun shone brightly.
According to Page Six, Kim flew North and her friends to NYC on her private jet on Friday. They visited Serendipity3 on the Upper East Side, enjoying ice cream sundaes and frozen hot chocolate. The group wore matching pajamas that said ‘I [heart] NW,’ mimicking the iconic ‘I [heart] NY’ shirts.
Last year, Kim threw a lavish sleepover for North at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This year, she posted a sweet birthday tribute to North on Instagram, sharing throwback photos. Thank God for you ✨ Happy 11th birthday my sweet girl North. I love you so so so much,” Kim wrote. Social media users, including Kourtney Kardashian’s husband Travis Barker, La La Anthony, Winnie Harlow, Khloe Kardashian, and Kris Jenner, also sent birthday wishes.
Kris Jenner penned her own tribute, sharing throwback photos of North. “Happy birthday to my beautiful granddaughter, North!” she wrote. “Watching you grow into the amazing, talented, creative young girl you are has been one of the greatest joys of my life.” She praised North’s confidence, creativity, and recent Lion King performance at the Hollywood Bowl, calling her a “superstar.”
Later, Kim shared videos on her Instagram stories, flaunting her look while grabbing a bite to eat, and posed with La La Anthony and Kai Cenat during the celebration.
