Trivia

Two versions were shot simultaneously – one predominantly in Hindi and an “international” version in English.

According to Brett Ratner there was no re-shoot. He just cut the movie, and kept the story. The only correction he made was deleting dance sequence which didn’t drive the story forward.

He also added a new music track and big sound designs, and kept some footage which was originally removed in the Hindi version – ‘more racy, more sexuality’ – for international audiences.

Sonam Kapoor was offered a role in the movie, but she felt the steamy role went against her simple image.

Deepika Padukone was offered the female lead.
