The 37-year-old The Hills alum confirmed their breakup while appearing on Alex Cooper’s “Unwell” live tour in Austin, Texas. During the show, Call Her Daddy podcast host Cooper revealed that Cavallari was “newly single,” with Cavallari herself acknowledging the split was still “fresh.”
Cavallari and Estes had been dating for seven months, after meeting via social media in September 2023. The couple’s romance quickly gained attention, but it has now come to an end. Cavallari did not share much about the reasons behind their split, leaving it open-ended.
Their breakup follows Estes’ appearance on Cavallari’s Let’s Be Honest podcast in early September, where he spoke about his hopes for their relationship, including his desire for marriage and children, though he was hesitant to rush into anything. Cavallari, who already shares three children—Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 8—with her ex-husband, former NFL star Jay Cutler, seemed to have different priorities.
Estes, a social media influencer and member of the viral “Montana Boyz” TikTok group, first caught Cavallari’s attention with his cowboy-themed content. Despite their 13-year age gap and controversy surrounding Estes’ past—he was accused of felony assault in 2021 but never charged—the couple appeared to enjoy their time together, frequently posting about their travels and relationship.
Just weeks before the split, the pair had admitted on Cavallari’s podcast that they were experiencing the “best sex” of their lives. Despite their connection, the romance has come to a sudden end.
