Bollywood Fever: Kyle Richards, star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has removed the “wife” portion from her Instagram bio following the recent scandal involving her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. Umansky was photographed kissing a mystery woman at the Mykonos airport on Wednesday.
Richards’ updated Instagram bio now reads: “Mom, actor, author, producer, animal lover, a RHOBH, CAA.” However, her bio on X (formerly Twitter) still includes “wife,” though Richards, 55, rarely uses the platform. As of 9:25 p.m. ET, her X bio states: “Mom of 4, wife, animal lover, actress, author, A Real Housewife Of Beverly Hills, TV producer, United Talent Agency,” along with the hashtags “#AmericanWomanTV” and “#RHOBH.”
On May 2, Page Six reported that Richards had dropped “Umansky” from her social media name but had retained “wife” in her bio. The recent incident with Umansky, 54, who was seen kissing an unidentified woman at the Mykonos airport, has further fueled speculation about their relationship. The woman greeted Umansky with an affectionate hug upon his arrival.
The “Buying Beverly Hills” star did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment regarding the public display of affection. This isn’t the first time Umansky has been spotted with another woman; last November, he was seen getting cozy with a mystery blonde, though nothing seemed to come of it.
Richards has also been the subject of romance rumors, particularly with country singer Morgan Wade last year. However, she consistently denied any romantic involvement, insisting they were “very good friends.”
The news of Richards and Umansky’s separation surfaced in July 2023, with insiders claiming they had “been separated for a while.” Despite this, Richards confirmed in December 2020 that they were still living together under the same roof, thanks to the ample space in their Los Angeles mansion. “I’m also very fortunate that we get along and care about each other very much and that we are a family no matter what,” she added.
In May, Richards revealed on the “Bitch Bible” podcast that Umansky had moved out and into a luxury condo in West Hollywood. Despite their separation, the exes remain on good terms, even reuniting for Umansky’s 54th birthday in late June. They celebrated with their four daughters at Catch Steak in West Hollywood.
