On April 1 KST, a report by ‘Dispatch‘ revealed that Park Yeon Jin and Joo Yeo Jung, co-stars of Netflix’s ‘The Glory’, have become a true “April Fool’s” couple. However, it was actually claimed that Lim Ji Yeon (32) and Lee Do Hyun (27), the lead actors of the hit Netflix series, are romantically involved.
The alleged couple’s supposed first romantic encounter took place on December 15, 2022, outside Lee Do Hyun’s home, amid snowy weather and heavy mist. According to the report, they built a small snowman together and snapped photos of it on the hood of Lee’s car. The following day, they visited Yongin Recreational Forest, with Lee fetching coffee for them on the way.
The report also suggested that the co-stars’ romance began during the final stages of filming for ‘The Glory,’ specifically at a cast workshop and a summer MT last year, where the sparks between them started to fly.
The two even kept their relationship a secret among their co-stars. One affiliate commented, “The teamwork of ‘The Glory’ team is excellent. They often had group dinners. That must have been how their relationship bloomed.”
In January of 2023, Lee Do Hyun was juggling two concurrent projects – the JTBC drama ‘The Good Bad Mother’ and the upcoming thriller film ‘Grave Digger’ (working title). However, despite his busy schedule, he never skipped team dinners with his ‘The Glory’ colleagues.
At one such gathering, which was attended by luminaries like scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook, Song Hye Kyo, Yeom Hye Ran, Jung Sung Il, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo Young, Kim Gun Woo, and more, Lee Do Hyun acted as Lim Ji Yeon’s manager by giving her a ride home in his manager’s van.
‘Dispatch’ concluded its report by revealing that as recently as March 14, which happens to be White Day, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon went on a date in Geumho-dong.
