Bachelor Nation star Madison Prewett and her husband, Grant Troutt, celebrated the upcoming arrival of their first child with a sweet backyard gender reveal. The couple is expecting a baby girl!
Bollywood Fever: Madison Prewett and her husband, Grant Troutt, are thrilled to announce that they’re expecting a baby girl! The couple, both 28, shared the exciting news with their fans on Friday, August 23, during a heartfelt backyard gender reveal celebration.
The joyous moment was captured on Instagram, where the couple revealed the sex of their first child. “Baby Troutt is a……. GIRL!!!!” they wrote, alongside a video of the big reveal.
At the celebration, Prewett and Troutt used a golden “T” lever to release a cloud of pink powder into the sky, confirming they would be welcoming a daughter. The event was beautifully decorated with pink-and-blue balloons and floral arrangements, adding to the festive atmosphere.
“The big moment is almost here,” Prewett shared with her followers on her Instagram Story, showcasing the carefully arranged balloon arches and flowers. “Every detail is perfect.”
After discovering they were having a girl, the couple shared a tender embrace, surrounded by family and friends. Fellow Bachelor Nation stars were quick to send their congratulations in the comments. Raven Gates exclaimed, “I knew it!!!” while Desiree Hartsock and Kelley Flanagan expressed their joy with heart emojis and cheers.
Prewett announced her pregnancy earlier in August, sharing that she and Troutt had decided to take a relaxed approach to starting a family. “We said we don’t wanna put any pressure on it, we don’t know what this journey’s gonna look like,” Prewett mentioned on her “Stay True” podcast. The couple’s journey to parenthood has been filled with excitement and anticipation, and this latest revelation has only added to their joy.
Madison Prewett first rose to fame as the runner-up on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor in 2020. After a brief reunion with Weber post-show, she moved on and found lasting love with Grant Troutt. The couple went public with their relationship in May 2022 and tied the knot in October of the same year.
Reflecting on her marriage, Prewett shared in a July 2023 interview with Us Weekly the importance of communication in their relationship. “When we first got married, I think I expected him to just know all of my needs and desires, and that was very unfair to him,” she said. “We’ve learned the importance of communication through trial and error.”
As they prepare to welcome their baby girl, Prewett and Troutt are ready to embark on this new chapter with love, joy, and the support of their close-knit Bachelor Nation family.
