Michelle Mendelovitz has stepped down as head of Mattel Television Studios after less than a year in the role, where she oversaw global content development and production.
Bollywood Fever: Michelle Mendelovitz has stepped down as the head of Mattel Television Studios, Bollywood Fever has confirmed.
Mendelovitz, who joined the studio in November of last year, played a key role in overseeing the development, production, and distribution of Mattel’s episodic content across broadcast and streaming platforms worldwide.
During her tenure, Mendelovitz was involved in high-profile projects, including the newly announced Barney the Dinosaur animated series for Max and Cartoon Network. Before joining Mattel, she served as the head of drama development at Disney’s 20th Television.
The news of Mendelovitz’s departure was first reported by Deadline.
She previously served as SVP, Head of Drama Development, at 20th Television and as Senior Creative Executive for Scripted & Unscripted Programming at Apple. Mendelovitz’s résumé also includes a stint as VP Scripted Programming (Drama & Comedy) at Sony Pictures Television.
