Newlyweds Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi were spotted hauling their own luggage after landing at a heliport in New York City on Sunday. The 20-year-old actress showcased her style in a red-ruched peasant mini-dress, white sunglasses, matching luggage, Birkenstock-style sandals, and an elegant Louis Vuitton bag, highlighting her role as a ‘house ambassador’ for the French fashion house.
Jake Bongiovi, 22, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, accompanied Millie, marking their return from a honeymoon in Sardinia. The couple, who had a ‘very small’ family ceremony during the weekend of May 18-19, is now planning a larger celebration in September.
Millie was seen trying on gowns at the upscale bridal boutique Galia Lahav in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood on July 2. An insider told The Sun, “They are going all out for their second in September. It is going to be huge. People have already started booking their flights for the big day which, like their first, is going to be held in America.”
The couple, who went Instagram official as ‘BFFs’ on June 3, 2021, have been inseparable ever since. Before Bongiovi, Millie dated Romeo Beckham, pop singer Jacob Sartorius, and rugby player Joseph Robinson. Jake, who signed with William Morris Endeavor and IMG Models, is also an influencer with partnerships for brands like Tom Ford and Roger Dubuis.
Jake wrapped his second acting role in the Thanksgiving college comedy “Sweethearts” alongside Kiernan Shipka. Meanwhile, Millie will star in the Russo brothers’ $300M-budget sci-fi adventure “The Electric State,” premiering later this year on Netflix. Millie compared the film to “a live-action WALL-E” due to its heart and soul.
The adaptation of Simon StÃ¥lenhag’s 2017 graphic novel features an impressive cast, including Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Jenny Slate, Brian Cox, Giancarlo Esposito, Anthony Mackie, and Billy Bob Thornton.
Millie will also conclude her role as Jane ‘Eleven’ Hopper in the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things,” set to premiere next year on Netflix. Additionally, she founded her beauty brand Florence by Mills in 2020 and has expanded into fashion and coffee lines.
