Millie Bobby Brown is showing off her pride in being Jake Bongiovi‘s wife, and she’s making it clear with her fashion choices.
The newlyweds were spotted at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida on Monday, seemingly enjoying some honeymoon fun. Millie sported a pair of super short jean shorts with “WIFEY” emblazoned across the back.
She further embraced her new status with a “Wife of The Party” trucker hat. The couple held hands and smiled for the camera during their day at the theme park.
Millie shared numerous photos from their visit to Universal Orlando, including stops at the Jurassic Park area and Volcano Bay water park. They also played carnival games, and it appears Jake won her a stuffed animal.
Millie proudly displayed her massive wedding ring in the photos—just look at that diamond, it’s enormous!
The couple secretly tied the knot last month and are now openly celebrating their new life as husband and wife. Their wedding comes three years after they first got together, and for Millie, it was love at first sight.
She told The Times of London in August, “I ran to my mum and said, ‘I really, really like him!’ After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
The Damsel star added, “It’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with. I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him.”
Meeting Jake even changed Millie’s perspective on marriage. As she told Glamour in October, she never originally planned to be a wife.
“I wanted to be the woman that my mom is to me and I wanted to be the woman that my grandmother was to me,” Millie explained. “But after meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.'”
