Morgan Wallen Arrested for Reckless Endangerment After Throwing Chair from Nashville Bar Rooftop
Morgan Wallen is facing legal repercussions after reportedly throwing a chair from the rooftop of a downtown Nashville bar over the weekend.
Online records indicate the country music artist was taken into custody and charged on Sunday evening with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count for disorderly conduct. Following his arrest, Wallen was released from custody after posting a $15,250 bond.
According to reports based on legal documents, the incident involved a chair plummeting to the sidewalk outside Chiefs Bar on Sunday evening, narrowly missing several police officers positioned nearby.
Upon investigating, authorities were informed that Wallen was allegedly the one responsible for the act. After reviewing surveillance footage, police officers claim to have observed Wallen throwing the chair, with witnesses also alleging that Wallen appeared to laugh following the incident.
The arrest was partially captured on video, showing Wallen in the back of a police vehicle, seemingly shouting.
In response to the incident, Wallen’s lawyer, Worrick Robinson, stated to TMZ, “At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”
This incident adds to Wallen’s history of legal and controversial issues, including a 2020 arrest for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, as well as widespread criticism following the use of a racial slur in 2021.
