NASCAR driver Josh Berry miraculously survived a terrifying crash at the Coke Zero Sugar 400, leading to calls for Austin Cindric’s suspension after his role in the incident.
Bollywood Fever: NASCAR driver Josh Berry endured a life-threatening wreck at the Coke Zero Sugar 400 in Daytona, where his car flipped and smashed into the fence after going off track.

The 33-year-old was in a strong position to finish on the podium before the accident occurred with just two laps remaining on Saturday night.
At the time of the crash, Berry was trailing Austin Cindric. Footage from NBC shows that Berry’s car went airborne after being bumped by Cindric’s vehicle.
Despite the severity of the crash, Berry was evaluated and released from the infield care center shortly after, even giving a thumbs up to the crowd as he exited his car.
The wreck allowed Cindric to momentarily expand his lead, but the race ultimately ended with Harrison Burton being declared the winner.
Kyle Busch secured second place, while Christopher Bell finished third. Cindric, who was involved in the incident with Berry, eventually ranked 18th out of the 40 drivers competing.
Following the crash, several NASCAR fans took to social media to demand punishment for Cindric, accusing him of dangerous driving. “Cindric deserves to be suspended,” one user wrote on X, while another commented, “Cindric is such a dangerous driver. No reason he should be in Cup racing like that.” Another fan pointed out that “Cindric is lucky he didn’t flip either.”
The incident comes on the heels of another controversial race earlier this month, where Austin Dillon collided with Joey Logano on the final lap at Richmond Raceway. Logano managed to secure his first win in two years but not without expressing his frustration post-race.
As the debate over Cindric’s driving intensifies, NASCAR fans and officials alike are left reflecting on the dangers inherent in the sport and the importance of maintaining safety standards on the track.
