Weston Cage Coppola, son of Nicolas Cage, finalizes his divorce from Hila Cage Coppola following his recent arrest. Read about the custody arrangements, legal disputes, and ongoing family struggles.
Bollywood Fever: Just one week after his arrest, Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston Cage Coppola, has finalized his divorce from his third wife, Hila Cage Coppola. A judge signed off on the dissolution of their marriage on Thursday, according to TMZ.
Per the terms of their agreement, Hila retains sole custody of their two children, Cyress and Venice, both 4 years old. Weston currently has no visitation rights pending further court orders.
Weston has been ordered to pay Hila $991 per month in spousal support until July 31, after which Hila waives her right to receive further payments. Additionally, Hila must return several of Weston’s belongings, including two necklace pendants, a keyboard, three framed images of his band, crystal skulls, and a civil war document signed by Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Weston, who previously married Nikki Williams and Danielle Cage, wed Hila, 40, in 2018. They welcomed daughters Cyress and Venice during the pandemic but split in 2021, subsequently filing for divorce. He also shares sons Lucian and Sorin with Danielle.
In 2023, Weston and his mother, Christina Fulton, sued Hila for defamation, accusing her of embezzling $100,000 and requesting a “fraudulent restraining order” that prevented Fulton and her family from seeing Weston’s daughters. Fulton told the US Sun that the “hostile narrative and environment” created by Hila made it “impossible for the family to see or have a relationship with the children both privately and publicly.”
Fulton expressed the pain of not seeing her granddaughters: “Nicolas and I haven’t been able to meet our two beautiful little granddaughters at all since they were born. We’re in a quiet, horrible nightmare. It’s insane, painful, hurtful, devastating.”
Weston was arrested last week for assault with a deadly weapon following a verbal altercation with his mother that turned physical in April. Fulton explained to People that she initially visited Weston after receiving calls from his friends, who were concerned about his mental health crisis.
“Upon my arrival, I was met by my son who clearly was in a state of a mental-health breakdown, which in turn became a horrific experience,” Fulton reportedly said. “I have always supported helping my son with his mental-health struggles. I am doing all I can to get him the continued support he needs.”
The ongoing legal and personal struggles highlight the complex dynamics within the Cage family, as they navigate custody battles, mental health issues, and family disputes.
