Nikki Bella made her first public appearance hosting a Netflix event in Las Vegas after her husband Artem Chigvintsev’s arrest for felony domestic violence.
Bollywood Fever: Nikki Bella returned to the spotlight in a big way, hosting Netflix’s live hotdog eating contest between champions Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi in Las Vegas, just days after her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, was arrested for felony domestic violence.
The former WWE wrestler co-hosted the Labor Day sausage showdown alongside comedian Rob Riggle, receiving enthusiastic support from the crowd.
This marked Nikki’s first public appearance since Artem’s arrest in Napa, California, last Thursday.
The audience cheered as she was introduced, with one fan even shouting, “Love you, Nikki!” to which she responded with a smile, “Love you too.”
TMZ previously reported that Artem was arrested for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant after he called 911 for medical assistance. He later canceled the request, claiming that Nikki had thrown shoes at him.
According to the 911 call, the dispatcher noted that the couple was physically separated at the time, but police arrived an hour later and took Artem into custody.
Nikki was seen boarding a private jet on Saturday, traveling from California to Nevada, notably without her wedding ring—a detail that remained consistent during Monday’s event.
Although Nikki did not attend Sunday’s promotional event, where Joey and Kobayashi weighed in, she made a grand entrance on Monday, showing no visible signs of injury.
Sources close to the couple have indicated that Nikki and Artem’s relationship has been volatile for years, and Artem’s arrest did not come as a surprise to those familiar with their dynamic.
Despite the ongoing personal turmoil, Nikki maintained her composure and professionalism as she hosted the high-profile event.
