Noah Brown has made an impact for the Washington Commanders early in the 2024 season, showing promise alongside rookie QB Jayden Daniels and WR Terry McLaurin.
BollywoodFever: When Noah Brown joined the Washington Commanders, he knew he faced challenges in quickly mastering the offensive playbook, especially without the benefit of an offseason alongside second-overall rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Despite these hurdles, Brown has made a strong start to the 2024 season, demonstrating his value to the team.
In the Commanders’ first two games, Brown has recorded three catches for 56 yards, all of which came during the team’s 21-18 victory over the Giants.
As he grows more comfortable within the system, there’s potential for Brown to see even more snaps, especially with his Ohio State connection to star receiver Terry McLaurin.
Daniels, Washington’s rookie quarterback, has taken note of Brown’s abilities. “I think just what he’s proven in this league, being able to go out there and create separation, make plays,” Daniels said.
He also acknowledged the Ohio State lineage between Brown and McLaurin, noting their work ethic: “You can just tell with Noah how he approaches practice.
He’s a pro’s pro, and you see the same thing from Terry, and that trickles down to the rest of the room.”
As the Commanders look to compete in a wide-open NFC East, they will need greater offensive efficiency.
Brown, with his strong start and hard-working attitude, seems ready to do whatever it takes to help Washington remain competitive.
