Oasis fans struggle with technical issues and long queues as they scramble for reunion tour tickets. Resale prices soar, with some tickets listed for £6,000.
Bollywood Fever: Oasis fans are waking up to disappointment as they struggle to secure tickets for the band’s much-anticipated reunion tour.
The 17-date U.K. and Ireland tour, which went on sale Saturday morning, has been plagued by technical issues across major ticketing platforms, leaving many fans frustrated.
Tickets were made available through three primary websites — Ticketmaster, GigsAndTours, and See Tickets.
However, fans quickly took to social media to voice their frustrations, sharing screenshots of error messages and reporting queue times exceeding half a million people.
The overwhelming demand has turned the ticket-buying process into a chaotic experience for many.
Amid the scramble, Oasis issued warnings against ticket scams and reselling. In a message posted to X on Saturday morning, the band cautioned fans:
“Please note, Oasis Live ‘25 tickets can only be resold at face value via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets! Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters.”
Despite these warnings, tickets began appearing on resale websites such as StubHub and Viagogo shortly after the presale started on Friday night. Some of these tickets were listed for as much as £6,000, far exceeding the face value of £150 for standing tickets and up to £205 for seated options.
Ticketmaster acknowledged the issues, stating that the queue was “moving along” but also noting that millions of users were attempting to access the website.
The company advised fans to remain patient, use only one browser tab, clear their cookies, and avoid using VPN software.
GigsAndTours and See Tickets also struggled with the surge in traffic, placing fans in a “temporary queue” before allowing access to the purchase page. A representative for GigsAndTours responded to a fan on X, saying,
“Please bear with us whilst the site manages the capacity. Customers are put in a temporary queue in advance of customers reaching the booking page when site reaches heavy traffic. The demand for tickets is extremely high. We wish you the best of luck with securing them!”
As fans continue to battle the technical challenges and soaring resale prices, the excitement surrounding Oasis’s reunion is being overshadowed by the difficulties in securing tickets.
