Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II leaves Saturday’s game against West Virginia with a leg injury, adding to his frustrating start to the 2024 season.
BollywoodFever: Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II’s difficult start to the 2024 season took a concerning turn on Saturday as he exited the game against West Virginia with an apparent leg injury.Â
Gordon, a top prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft, went down in the third quarter of the Cowboys’ 31-7 loss and had to be assisted off the field.
After a stellar 2023 season where he earned the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s top running back, Gordon has struggled to replicate those numbers this year.
Heading into the West Virginia game, he was averaging just 66 rushing yards per game. At the time of his injury, Gordon had rushed 13 times for 50 yards.
Gordon’s performance this season has been a shadow of last year’s success, and his leg injury adds to the challenges he’s facing.
The Cowboys will be hoping for a quick recovery, and fans are eager to see him return to form as he looks to regain momentum ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
