Pamela Anderson, the iconic “Baywatch” star, skips participation in Hulu’s new “Baywatch” documentary, making her the only original cast member not to take part in the nostalgic project.
Bollywood Fever: A new “Baywatch” documentary is making headlines, but not just for its nostalgic dive into the iconic show. The buzz mainly centers around the absence of one of the show’s most famous stars, Pamela Anderson, who surprisingly did not participate in the film.
According to TMZ’s sources with direct knowledge, while the Hulu documentary promises a never-before-seen interview with Pamela, she did not actually sit down for a recent interview with the filmmakers. Despite being offered the opportunity to take part in the four-part doc, Pamela opted out, making her the only original cast member to skip this reunion.
As per TMZ sources confirm that while “Baywatch” remains an integral part of Pamela’s history—one that she has fully embraced—there is no bad blood between her and the other cast members. Instead, Pamela is simply in a different phase of her life, focusing on new opportunities that have come her way in the last two years.
Pamela has been riding high with major projects, including two upcoming films this year. One of these films, “The Last Showgirl,” is already generating Oscar buzz ahead of its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next weekend.
As for the documentary, it will feature a full “Baywatch” reunion, minus Pamela. Participating cast members include Nicole Eggert, Carmen Electra, Billy Warlock, Jeremy Jackson, and others. Interestingly, David Hasselhoff’s participation remains uncertain, despite reportedly being interviewed back in 2019 when the production for the documentary began under the title “Baywatch: The Documentary.” Whether he appears in the final version is still unclear.
The documentary promises to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane for “Baywatch” fans, though it will do so without the involvement of the show’s most iconic star, Pamela Anderson.
