Trivia
The exact model of Car/Jeep shown in movie used by team Tata Sumo, was not available back then in 1998. That time Tata Sumo was not available in metallic red colour and decal ( graphic stickers ), rather only available in plain white colour.
The movie is based on the nuclear test conducted by Indian Army in Pokhran, Rajasthan in 1998.
Abraham said: “Parmanu is an ode to the Army and scientists, who although ordinary people, truly accomplished extraordinary feats in the face of adversity to ensure that India finds its due place on the world nuclear map.”
The film features three different versions of the song “Thaare Vaste” than what is available on the official soundtrack.
