Bollywood Fever: Paris St Germain (PSG) has officially signed 19-year-old midfielder Desire Doue from Rennes on a five-year contract, extending until 2029. The Ligue 1 club announced the signing on Saturday, with the deal reportedly valued at €50 million ($55.14 million), according to French media.
Doue, who joined Rennes at the age of five, expressed his excitement about the move, stating, “It is a great joy to join Paris St Germain. I feel excitement but also a lot of happiness and pride. It’s a dream come true today.”
Doue made his senior debut for Rennes in 2022 and has since made 57 league appearances, scoring seven goals. His impressive performances earned him a place in the French team that won a silver medal at the Olympic Games this month.
PSG, who began their title defence with a 4-1 victory over Le Havre on Friday, continues to strengthen their squad with the addition of the young talent, reflecting their commitment to securing top emerging players in European football.
