Tampa Bay’s Rachaad White will play through illness against the Eagles, while A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are out for Philadelphia. Bucs brace for Jalen Carter’s pass rush.
BollywoodFever: Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was listed as questionable on Saturday due to an illness, reportedly food poisoning, but the team has confirmed he will suit up for Sunday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Fellow running back Bucky Irving, who was also questionable with a hamstring injury, is expected to play as well.
Injury Updates for Both Teams
Right tackle Luke Goedeke, dealing with a concussion, will miss his third straight game for the Bucs. On the Eagles’ side, wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith will not be available, creating more opportunities for tight end Dallas Goedert to step up in the passing game.
The Buccaneers’ offensive line, which has struggled recently by allowing 12 sacks in the last two games, will face a tough challenge against Jalen Carter and the Eagles’ pass rush. Carter was a dominant force in the Eagles’ win over New Orleans last week.
Series History
The Eagles hold a slight edge in the regular-season series, leading 9-8, but the Buccaneers have the upper hand in postseason matchups, with a 4-2 record, including a 32-9 Wild Card victory at Raymond James Stadium last season.
