Social media influencer Ryan Trahan challenges Ryanair’s notorious one-star reviews in a viral video, flying with the budget airline and addressing outrageous claims about its service and safety.
BollywoodFever: American social media influencer Ryan Trahan took on what many would never dare – testing the budget airline Ryanair, known for its notorious one-star reviews. In a viral YouTube video, which has garnered over 10 million views, Trahan set out to debunk the most terrifying claims made about the Irish low-cost carrier.
Ryanair’s Infamous One-Star Reviews
In his video titled “no poo stains!”, Ryan shares his mission: to give Ryanair a five-star review based on his personal experience, but with one rule – no lying. He explained, “Out of any airline, hotel, restaurant or theme park on the planet, Ryanair has the most abundant one-star reviews I have ever seen.
Despite the overwhelming negative reviews, Ryan was puzzled by Ryanair’s continued success. The airline is more profitable than ever, with a stock price surge in recent years. He questioned why the world was dragging Ryanair’s name through the mud, despite its financial success and growing social media presence.
Debunking the Worst Claims
Ryan highlighted some of the most absurd reviews, including one passenger comparing turbulence to being “thrown around inside a washing machine” and another accusing the pilot of landing “in the wrong country.” Undeterred, Trahan decided to experience the flight for himself and even tested Ryanair’s infamous social media interactions. True to its reputation for sarcasm, the airline responded to Ryan’s tweet with a snarky comment, “So needy,” when he asked for a compliment.
The Flight Experience
Throughout the flight, Ryan noted that while Ryanair lacks certain amenities like outlets and media screens, it does offer the essentials—namely a seatbelt. Despite his initial nerves, Trahan found the flight to be smooth and safe, and he crossed off all the dramatic claims from the one-star reviews.
In the end, Trahan declared, “The name of Ryanair has officially been redeemed,” and his fans echoed the sentiment in the comments section of his video.
Fan Reactions
The video received over 15,000 comments, with many fans commending Ryan for taking on the challenge. One viewer commented, “I just love how he’s risking his life…for us,” while another praised him for shedding light on the unnecessary hate Ryanair receives, saying, “It goes from A to B and for such a low price, you honestly don’t deserve to complain about them.
Ryan’s journey may have been nerve-wracking, but his experience suggests that Ryanair may not deserve all the bad press it has received.
