Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan injured during a robbery at his Bandra residence. Currently undergoing surgery, police investigations are underway to trace the attacker.
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured during a robbery at his Bandra West residence early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. when an intruder allegedly barged into the actor’s home and reportedly stabbed him.
The robber fled the scene after waking up other members of the household.

Police Investigation Underway
The Bandra police are in the process of registering an FIR, with multiple teams formed to trace the suspect.
A senior IPS officer confirmed the incident, stating, “Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. It is not yet clear whether he was stabbed or injured during a scuffle with the robber. Investigations are ongoing, and the Mumbai Crime Branch is conducting a parallel inquiry into the matter.”
Details of Saif’s Injuries
Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, provided updates on Saif’s condition. “Saif was attacked by an unidentified person at his residence and brought to the hospital at 3:30 a.m.
He has six injuries, two of which are deeper.
One is close to his spine. He is being operated on by a team of specialists, including neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anaesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi.”
The doctor also noted an injury near Saif’s neck, which is being evaluated.
Surgery began at 5:30 a.m. and was still ongoing at the time of reporting.
Saif’s family, including his wife Kareena Kapoor, is present at the hospital.
About the Incident
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who have been married since 2012, live in Mumbai’s Satguru Sharan building in Bandra West with their two sons, Taimur (8) and Jeh (4).
The family was home during the attack, but no other injuries have been reported.
