Sara Foster discusses her personal growth and relationship changes amid rumors of a split with longtime partner Tommy Haas, emphasizing her new approach to deep connections.
Bollywood Fever: Sara Foster is navigating significant relationship changes, as she recently shared insights into her personal life amid swirling rumors of a split with her longtime partner, Tommy Haas.

The 90210 alum, who shares two daughters—Valentina, 13, and Josephine, 8—with the former tennis pro, addressed her emotional evolution over the past two years during a candid conversation on the August 15 episode of The World’s First Podcast, which she co-hosts with her sister, Erin Foster.
While Sara, 43, did not directly confirm the rumored breakup, which was reported by People on August 15, she spoke about the transformative effect that therapy has had on her life.
“I have walls everywhere, and it’s only been in the last two years where I’ve decided I don’t want those walls anymore,” she said, highlighting her desire to be more open and emotionally available.

Sara revealed that she is now focusing on surrounding herself with people who are willing to engage in deep, meaningful conversations.
“I’m craving surrounding myself with people who will also show up like that,” she expressed. “I just have no time for anything else. That’s where I’m at right now. And I’m just cutting people out, left and right.”
Sara and Tommy, who met in 2006 through mutual friends, got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2009 but never married. Despite this, their lives have been deeply intertwined for nearly two decades.
In a 2023 interview on the We Met at Acme podcast, Sara described their relationship as “basically married,” noting, “We’ve been together since I’ve been 25 years old.
We have two kids. Our lives are completely intertwined and together.”

Reflecting on her upbringing, Sara shared that her views on marriage were shaped by her parents’ relationship.
“Looking back, I guess I didn’t grow up respecting marriage because I grew up thinking it doesn’t mean anything—you just walk away, you cheat, you go to this person, you go to that person,” she said.
During the podcast, Sara expressed her newfound commitment to cutting out small talk and engaging in deeper, more meaningful exchanges.
Her guest, It Ends With Us director and actor Justin Baldoni, and his wife, Emily Baldoni, resonated with her sentiments, with Emily adding,
“When you are on such a deep journey in your life and you are changing, unfortunately we have to prune so many people and situations out of our life.”
As Sara continues to navigate this period of personal growth and change, she is embracing a more authentic and vulnerable approach to her relationships, setting clear boundaries, and prioritizing deep, meaningful connections.
