Dallas Wings’ Satou Sabally delivers a stellar performance with 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, leading her team to a 93-90 win over the Las Vegas Aces.

Bollywood Fever: The 2024 WNBA season is just getting underway for Dallas Wings star Satou Sabally, and she’s already off to a scorching start.

In a thrilling 93-90 victory over the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday, Sabally led her team with an impressive 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.

This marked only her fifth game of the season, following a lengthy recovery from shoulder surgery that kept her sidelined for the first 25 games.

Sabally’s outstanding performance was crucial for the Wings, as it helped them withstand a 42-point explosion from Aces’ star A’ja Wilson

Her stat line not only contributed to the win but also etched her name in the history books—Sabally is now the first WNBA player to average 20.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 53.6% from three-point range per game through her first five games.

Sabally wasn’t the only standout for the Wings on Tuesday night. Natasha Howard contributed 24 points and 6 rebounds, while Arike Ogunbowale added 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists, making it a well-rounded team effort in the victory.

Despite their strong showing, the Wings face an uphill battle for the rest of the 2024 season, currently sitting second-to-last in the league with an 8-22 record.

However, seeing Sabally return to form, resembling her WNBA All-Star self after overcoming her shoulder injury, is a positive sign for Dallas moving forward.
