According to Spanish newspaper Diario de Avisos, the altercation involved a group of approximately 15 people celebrating a bachelor party who clashed with three other individuals. The confrontation took place on the runway just before the passengers were to board the bus to the baggage claim area. Witnesses reported that at least one person was injured in the melee.
