Bollywood Fever: Social media platform X was back online Tuesday night after experiencing an outage that lasted less than an hour, according to Downdetector.com, a website that tracks service disruptions.
The outage, which began earlier in the evening, saw more than 36,500 reports of issues at its peak around 11:18 p.m. ET.
By 11:46 p.m. ET, the number of outage reports in the U.S. had dropped to fewer than 500, indicating that the platform’s services were largely restored.
Similarly, reports of outages in Canada and the UK also significantly decreased, with numbers falling from over 3,300 in Canada and 1,600 in the UK at 11:20 p.m. ET to under 100.
The cause of the outage remains unclear, and X has not yet responded to Reuters’ request for comment regarding the incident.
The platform’s brief disruption affected users across multiple regions, but the swift resolution brought services back online before midnight.
