Football legends Tom Brady, David Beckham, and Lionel Messi reunite at Inter Miami’s game against Cincinnati, sparking excitement among fans and celebrating the team’s MLS playoff qualification.
Bollywood Fever: Three of the greatest football legends of all time—Tom Brady, David Beckham, and Lionel Messi—were seen together at an especially star-studded soccer match.
The trio attended the Inter Miami game against Cincinnati on Saturday, August 24, where Inter Miami secured a 2-0 victory and clinched a spot in the Major League Soccer (MLS) playoffs.
In a photo shared on Instagram by Beckham, 49, on Sunday, August 25, the former England captain posed with Brady, 47, and Messi, 37.
Beckham, who is the co-owner and president of Inter Miami, was all smiles alongside Brady and Messi, despite Messi being sidelined due to an ankle injury.
“THE GREATEST 🐐 🐐 doesn’t get any better 🩷🩷 @leomessi @tombrady to watch us go into the playoffs @intermiamicf 🇦🇷 & 🇺🇸 xx,” Beckham captioned the photo, celebrating the team’s playoff qualification.
Before the game, Brady took to the field when Beckham presented him with a pink Inter Miami jersey.
The two legendary athletes shared a warm hug, and Inter Miami’s official X (formerly Twitter) account posted photos of the moment, captioning it, “Pink always suits a 🐐🏈”
Brady shared the event on his social media, reposting Beckham’s Instagram post on his Instagram Story, and jokingly wrote, “I’m bringing @leomessi back to Birmingham with me. Sorry, @davidbeckham.”
Beckham and Brady have been friends for years, with Beckham even checking in on Brady after The Roast of Tom Brady aired on Netflix in May 2023.
Beckham expressed concern for his friend during a May 8 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he mentioned sending a message to Brady to ensure he was okay after the roast.
The friendship between the two icons has seen them poke fun at each other as well. When Brady retired from the NFL in 2023, Beckham humorously commented on a post of Brady hanging out on a yacht, saying, “Tom looks a little bored to be honest.”
The pair have also shared special moments with their families, including a memorable daddy-daughter outing in January 2023.
Brady posted an Instagram Story of himself with his daughter Vivian, 11, and Beckham with his daughter Harper, 13, during a meal together, captioned, “Daddy Daughter Dates❤️”
As Inter Miami heads into the playoffs, fans are excited to see how the team, led by Messi and supported by such iconic figures, will perform in the coming matches.
