Texas, Bollywood Fever: A devastating shooting incident at a Chick-fil-A in Irving, Texas, has resulted in the tragic deaths of two employees, confirmed by the restaurant’s owner-operator.
“Our hearts are shattered by the events that unfolded inside our restaurant on Wednesday. We deeply mourn the loss of our two Team Members,” the owner stated in a heartfelt message.
The suspect, identified as Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, a 37-year-old citizen of El Salvador, has been apprehended and charged with capital murder of multiple persons in connection with the shooting at the Chick-fil-A located on North MacArthur Boulevard.
“We can confirm that the suspect was taken into custody early this morning,” a spokesperson for the Irving Police Department informed Fox News Digital. Mendoza Argueta is also subject to an immigration detainer by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Dallas/Fort Worth.

The identity of the second victim has been withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
During the search for the suspect, police released Mendoza Argueta’s photograph and details of the vehicle he was last seen driving, aiding in his apprehension.
