Jordan Felton, 25, from Bradford, jailed for six months after being found with combat knives at Hull Railway Station and threatening to kill someone.

Bollywood Fever: A routine patrol at Hull Railway Station led to the arrest of Jordan Felton, a 25-year-old from Bradford, who was found carrying two combat knives. The incident occurred on May 24 when officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) stopped Felton as part of their efforts to combat county lines drug dealing.

Felton, described as baby-faced, raised the suspicions of the officers, prompting them to search him. During the search, the officers discovered two deadly knives in his jacket pocket and rucksack. Initially, Felton claimed the knives were for fishing, but he later told the officers he was unstable and intended to kill someone, even threatening to bite their noses off.

A spokesperson for the force said Felton, of Wenborough Lane, Bradford, pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of a bladed article. He was sentenced to six months in jail at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on July 3.

Investigating officer DS Karen Grave commented on the arrest: “Felton was arrested during a routine patrol by our county lines taskforce. Thanks to the expertise of our officers their suspicions were immediately alerted.

“Thankfully, due to their intervention, two deadly weapons are now off the railway network and the streets. Our County Lines taskforce police the railway 24/7 – criminals may not spot us – but as Felton can testify, we’ve always got our eye on them.”
