Tyreek Hill admits he could have handled his traffic stop better, but criticizes police for excessive force during the incident. Hill calls for accountability from Miami Dade PD.
Bollywood Fever: Tyreek Hill is taking partial responsibility for his recent run-in with police, admitting he wishes he could “go back and do things differently” during the incident, but also making it clear that the cops’ behavior was unacceptable.

Speaking with reporters in Miami on Wednesday, the 30-year-old Dolphins star opened up about his actions during the traffic stop before Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
While Hill acknowledged that he could have been more cooperative, including rolling down his window earlier, he emphasized that the police did not have the right to escalate the situation.
“My life is all about accountability,” Hill said. “I could’ve been better… but at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and do things differently. Now, does that give them the right to literally beat the dog out of me? Absolutely not.”

The incident, which took place outside Hard Rock Stadium, has divided fans. Some have blamed Hill for his attitude and failure to follow commands, while others have criticized the police for failing to deescalate the situation.
Hill was handcuffed and taken to the ground before being released with two citations for careless driving and a seatbelt violation.
Hill has since called on Miami Dade Police Department to fire the officers involved, though only one has been placed on desk duty pending an investigation.
Despite the controversy surrounding the stop, Hill managed to focus on the field, catching 7 passes for 130 yards and an 80-yard touchdown later that day.
With the Dolphins set to face the Buffalo Bills tomorrow on Thursday Night Football, all eyes will be on Hill to see if he can channel the same intensity on the field.
