Valkyrae Reveals Jason Momoa Was Her Worst Celebrity Experience

YouTube star Valkyrae shares her disappointing experience with Jason Momoa on the set of A Minecraft Movie, alleging mistreatment of crew members. The movie, featuring a star-studded cast, is set to release in April 2025.

BollywoodFever: YouTube sensation Valkyrae, with over four million subscribers, recently opened up about her worst celebrity experience involving Aquaman actor Jason Momoa. 

During a live interview on September 13, hosted by fellow streamer JasonTheWeen on Twitch, she candidly discussed an incident that took place on the set of A Minecraft Movie.

When asked to share her most negative encounter with a celebrity or streamer, Valkyrae was given the option to keep the name anonymous. 

However, she chose to name Jason Momoa, saying, “I will state the name,” before explaining her concerns.

“I saw him mistreat some of the crew, and it was pretty disappointing,” Valkyrae revealed. It was after a very intense and emotional scene, so maybe he was still in character, but he was really mad at them for not setting up the shot right. He was angry—yelling at them. I remember thinking, this is not a good work environment.”

Valkyrae mentioned that this incident occurred while she was on set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Minecraft movie. 

However, she didn’t provide further details regarding the specifics of her appearance or the exact nature of the alleged incident.

In A Minecraft Movie, Jason Momoa plays Garrett ‘The Garbage Man’ Garrison, one of the lead characters who, along with a group of misfits, gets transported into the world of Minecraft. 

The film’s cast also includes notable names such as Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge.

Despite the high-profile cast, the movie has faced backlash ever since its announcement. Fans have expressed concerns, particularly over Jack Black’s singing role, and the trailer was heavily criticized for its quality, with some labeling it “terrible.”

A Minecraft Movie is slated for release in theaters on April 5, 2025.
