Washington Commanders Dominate Cardinals 42-14, Extend Winning Streak

Must read

The Washington Commanders dominate the Arizona Cardinals 42-14 with stellar performances from Jayden Daniels and Brian Robinson Jr., extending their winning streak to 3-1.

BollywoodFever: The Washington Commanders continued their impressive run with a dominant 42-14 victory over the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium. Building on their road win against the Cincinnati Bengals last week, Washington delivered another commanding performance, leaving little doubt about their form.

Earlier in the week, head coach Dan Quinn cautioned his team against getting too high after their big win in Cincinnati, urging them to avoid the emotional rollercoaster of the NFL season. His message clearly resonated as the Commanders dismantled the Cardinals with precision and power.

Commanders Secure Victory in Preseason Finale with Strong Fourth-Quarter Surge

Quarterback Jayden Daniels was again in stellar form, completing 26 of 30 passes for 233 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. However, Washington’s offense was far from a one-man show. Running back Brian Robinson Jr. led the charge on the ground with 101 yards and a touchdown from 21 carries. Jeremy McNichols also played a crucial role, rushing for 68 yards and two touchdowns from eight carries. Daniels contributed to the ground attack as well, adding 47 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Washington’s offensive domination was evident in the stats. The Commanders piled up 449 total yards, averaged 6.7 yards per play, and converted nine of their 12 third-down attempts. They also held a significant edge in time of possession, controlling the ball for nearly seven minutes more than Arizona and securing 10 more first downs (28-10).

Now sitting at 3-1, the Commanders have back-to-back road wins under their belt, playing at a consistently high level. However, as Coach Quinn warned, the team must stay grounded and avoid complacency. They’ll look to maintain their momentum next week when they face the Cleveland Browns.
