Bollywood Fever: Brazilian international Willian has announced his departure from Fulham after two years with the Premier League club. The 36-year-old former Chelsea and Arsenal player confirmed on Friday that his contract, which was extended for a year last season, has now expired.
In an emotional farewell post on Instagram, Willian expressed his gratitude to the club and its supporters. “I would like to thank Fulham for a wonderful two years. It was special to return to the Premier League and be part of this historic club and the amazing fans,” he wrote. “I have had incredible moments and this club will always be in my heart.”
During his time at Fulham, Willian played as a left winger or attacking midfielder, making 58 Premier League appearances and scoring nine goals.
