Bollywood Fever: WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley might be a few weeks away from returning to the ring, but she still managed to score a major win outside the squared circle by tying the knot with her wrestler fiancé, Buddy Matthews, over the weekend!
The happy couple shared the news with their fans through a joint Instagram post captioned “Til Death.” The post was met with an outpouring of joy and congratulations from fans and colleagues alike.
Although details about the location and size of the ceremony remain unknown, we do know that Ripley and Matthews opted for an all-black attire, adding a unique touch to their special day.
Ripley’s WWE family was quick to flood the comments section with congratulatory messages. Bianca Belair, who has faced Ripley numerous times in the ring, left a heartfelt “Congrats!!!!!!” Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio, Ripley’s on-screen romantic partner, celebrated the news with a series of heart emojis.
Matthews, who currently wrestles for AEW, proposed to Ripley in August 2023 at Cocoa Beach in Florida. Ripley enthusiastically accepted with a “1000x YES.”
The couple went public with their relationship in 2022 after meeting when Matthews was still wrestling for WWE.
