Andy Cohen Addresses Brandi Glanville’s Allegations of Sexual Harassment
BollywoodFever, February 22: Andy Cohen responded on Thursday to Brandi Glanville’s claims of sexual harassment, stating that the Real Housewives star was “in on the joke” but expressing regret for the “inappropriate” situation.
In a letter addressed to NBC Universal, Warner Bros., and Shed Media on Thursday, Glanville’s attorneys detailed that Cohen sent her a video in 2022, where he appeared “obviously inebriated.”
The letter outlines that Cohen allegedly “boasted” about his desire to “sleep with another Bravo star” while “thinking” about Glanville, and invited her to witness the sexual act via FaceTime.
“Mr. Cohen was Ms. Glanville’s boss at the time and exercised complete and total control over her career,” the letter asserts. “This was an extraordinary abuse of power that left Ms. Glanville feeling trapped and disgusted.”
In a statement shared on X, formerly Twitter, later on Thursday, Cohen clarified that the video featuring Kate Chastain and him was clearly a joke directed at Brandi.
He further elaborated, “It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi’s response clearly communicated she was in on the joke.”
Cohen concluded his statement with an apology: “That said, it was totally inappropriate, and I apologize.”
