As the couples indulge in heated moments, Gomez herself undergoes a series of wardrobe changes, showcasing her own fashion journey.

Throughout “Love On,” sensuality permeates the air, echoing the theme underscored by the song’s lyrics.

Consider the opening verse: “This doesn’t have to be / Some sort of mathematical equation / Slip off your jeans, slide in the sheets / Screaming ‘yes’ in quotations / Clock in, baby, get to work / Night shift, but with all the perks.”

Meanwhile, the music video, directed by French filmmaker Greg Ohrel, encapsulates the romantic essence of Parisian life, inspired by Gomez’s experiences in the city last year.

Interscope, Gomez’s music label, describes “Love On” as an “anthemic pop song,” emphasizing the allure of Parisian romance and the excitement of new love.

Gomez initially teased the single in a February 15 Instagram post, further fueling anticipation with glimpses of her Parisian adventure.

Amidst her recent trip to France, Gomez shared snapshots capturing the essence of her time there, including a captivating image of her posing against the Parisian skyline, with the Eiffel Tower looming majestically in the background.

Among the more provocative images shared was one featuring Gomez reclining in a luxurious bathtub, tastefully veiled by bubbles and hinting at the song’s intimate themes.

“Love On” marks a milestone in Gomez’s collaboration with Benny Blanco, following their previous work on 2021’s “I Can’t Get Enough.” Their creative synergy shines through once again in this latest endeavor, underscoring a blossoming romance that extends beyond the music.
