Dolly Parton donates $1 million to Hurricane Helene relief efforts and performs a private concert for Walmart employees, following a $10 million donation from Walmart.
BollywoodFever: Dolly Parton wasted no time getting back to work after her generous $1 million donation to Hurricane Helene relief efforts. The iconic country star partnered with Walmart, which donated an additional $10 million, to support those affected by the devastating storm. Parton’s Dollywood amusement park also contributed another $1 million to the relief fund.

After making the substantial donation, Parton performed at a private event in Bentonville, Arkansas, at Walmart’s headquarters on Friday. TMZ captured the legendary singer entertaining a crowd of long-serving Walmart employees—those with 35, 40, or 45 years of service—at an exclusive show.
True to her vibrant style, Dolly dazzled in an outfit inspired by the classic Walmart uniform, but with her signature glamorous twist. She sang several of her greatest hits, including the timeless “9 to 5,” wowing the audience as seen in the video footage.
With more than 220 lives lost in the hurricane’s aftermath, Parton’s actions show her heart is as big as her star power. From financial contributions to uplifting performances, Dolly continues to demonstrate why she’s beloved by so many.
