The track surpassed Chappell Roan’s Good Luck Babe with an impressive 6.2 million streams over the past week, according to Billboard.

Carpenter’s chart dominance extends beyond Taste, with her other popular songs Please Please Please and Espresso maintaining strong positions on the UK charts. This follows her recent win at the VMAs for Song of the Year, where Espresso took home the prestigious award.
During her acceptance speech, Carpenter expressed heartfelt gratitude: “I’ve literally never won one of these. This is really special.
