Trivia
SRK’s character was shot using Forced Perspective, which is a technique that employs optical illusion to make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is. It is the first time a Bollywood film used this technology.
Sridevi appeared in the film in a cameo role, which marked her last appearance, after her death in early 2018.
Katrina Kaif had worked with the three Khans consecutively in 2012-13 (“Ek Tha Tiger”, “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and “Dhoom 3”). She again did the same in 2017-18 (“Tiger Zinda Hai”, “Thugs Of Hindostan” and “Zero”).
Deepika Padukone was first choice for Anushka’s role. but she had to leave the film due to date issues.
This is the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and director Anand l Rai.
