Ashlyn Harris felt the love alongside her girlfriend Sophia Bush during their recent trip to Paris. On Sunday, June 2, Harris, 38, took to social media to share a collection of cherished moments from their visit to the French capital two weeks earlier.
In a romantic video compilation posted on Instagram, Harris showcased herself and Bush, 41, looking deeply in love as they roamed the streets of Paris. The footage included a tender moment of the couple kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower. “Chasing sunsets with you is my favorite,” Harris captioned the video.
The heartwarming post also featured the couple sharing another kiss by a picturesque waterfront, and a clip of Harris walking down the street while reaching back to hold the hand of the One Tree Hill alum. Additional footage captured the pair’s feet moving in unison.
Bush responded to the post with a heartfelt comment, writing, “You.”
Harris’ post came after Bush, who was in France for a conference, shared her own snapshots via Instagram Stories on May 24. These images documented the couple’s adventures in the City of Love. “Happiness looks good on you, baby,” Bush captioned one photo of Harris gazing at her in front of the Eiffel Tower.
The couple first sparked romance rumors in October 2023, following their respective splits from Grant Hughes and Ali Krieger. A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Bush and Harris initially met at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity the previous June and developed a close friendship. After their marriages ended, their relationship turned romantic.
Bush filed for divorce from Hughes, 42, in August 2023, two months before Harris ended her marriage with Krieger. Bush publicly came out as queer in April, writing in a Glamour essay, “As I came into myself, I already felt it was my home. I think I’ve always known that my sexuality exists on a spectrum. Right now I think the word that best defines it is queer. I can’t say it without smiling, actually. And that feels pretty great.”
She added, “I sort of hate the notion of having to come out in 2024. But I’m deeply aware that we are having this conversation in a year when we’re seeing the most aggressive attacks on the LGBTQIA+ community in modern history. There were more than 500 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills proposed in state legislatures in 2023, so for that reason I want to give the act of coming out the respect and honor it deserves.”
Their affectionate Paris trip ignited engagement rumors, but Bush quickly dispelled any speculation of a proposal. On Saturday, May 25, she posted a selfie on Instagram Stories, showing her bare ring finger with the caption, “I have no ‘news’ for you.”
