Florida Couple Sues Orlando Police Department Over Alleged Wrongful SWAT Raid and Mistreatment of Their Child
A Florida couple sues Orlando PD for $10M, claiming a wrongful SWAT raid based on false child porn allegations left their baby in a soiled diaper for hours and caused public humiliation.
Bollywood Fever: A Florida couple, Christian and Laurie Ann Campbell, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the Orlando Police Department, alleging a wrongful SWAT raid based on false accusations of child pornography and child molestation.
The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, claims that the August 2020 raid was initiated based on faulty information, and it resulted in significant emotional distress and public humiliation for the couple.
Footage of the raid shows a large police presence, with Christian Campbell handcuffed and detained in a chair on the couple’s front lawn.
He reportedly struggled to comprehend the situation, later asserting that the police had the wrong person and that the allegations were completely unfounded.

Laurie Ann was also detained during the raid, which, according to the lawsuit, interrupted her on the way to get emergency treatment for their dog.
Tragically, the dog died shortly after the incident. The couple further claims that the police forced their 18-month-old child to remain in a soiled diaper for hours during the raid, causing the child’s clothing to become soaked in urine.
The Campbells also allege that police officers falsely informed their neighbors that they were child molesters, which led to further public embarrassment. Represented by attorney Ariel Mitchell, the couple is seeking $10 million in damages from the Orlando Police Department for the emotional and physical trauma they experienced during and after the raid.
