Justin Bieber gushes over wife Hailey Bieber after her skincare brand Rhode is acquired for $1 billion by e.l.f. Beauty. Here’s how the couple marked the big moment.
Justin Bieber is beaming with pride after his wife, Hailey Bieber, officially hit billionaire status.
On Wednesday, May 28, the 31-year-old pop star took to Instagram to celebrate the major milestone. The sweet post featured candid snaps of Justin hugging Hailey and planting a kiss on her cheek, plus a screenshot of her Instagram update about the major sale of her skincare line, Rhode.
“When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company,” Hailey wrote on Instagram. “So today, I am incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter.”
She continued, “I found a like-minded disruptor with a vision to be a different kind of company that believes in big ideas and innovation in the same way that I do and will help us continue to grow the brand.”
Hailey wrapped up her message with gratitude for her team and supporters, adding, “This is only the beginning.”
Earlier in the day, e.l.f. Beauty announced it’s acquiring Rhode in a billion-dollar deal. The agreement includes $800 million in cash and stock upfront, with another $200 million potentially on the table depending on Rhode’s future growth. Not bad for a brand that launched just three years ago!
Justin and Hailey, who got married in September 2018, welcomed their son Jack in August 2024. Life’s been full of big milestones for them lately — both personally and professionally.
Just a few weeks ago, Hailey also landed her first solo American Vogue cover. In a since-deleted post, Justin confessed that he once told her she’d “never” get the cover — even though the couple had appeared on it together before. Well, she proved him wrong.
In the Vogue summer issue, Hailey also cleared up rumors about her marriage, saying, “It’s not real. And that’s the thing: I have a real life. My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends and I have people that know me and love me and I love them.”
Hailey was front and center again on May 23, cheering Justin on during his surprise return to live performing at Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour stop at SoFi Stadium. Justin hopped on stage to perform “Snooze” with SZA — and even threw in a few affectionate kisses on her hand.
Naturally, Hailey captured the whole thing on her Instagram Stories, posting multiple videos from the night. In one clip, she called Justin and SZA her “two favorite artists,” complete with a face-holding-back-tears emoji and a heart-eyed smiley.
From billion-dollar deals to stadium stages, the Biebers are definitely having a moment — and loving every second of it.
