Samsung may release a third foldable device
Samsung is an experienced player in the foldable phone market, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 already in its lineup, and new versions expected to launch this year. However, a recent report indicates that Samsung is also developing a new device with a tri-fold design, similar to a wallet. To make room for this new product, Samsung has reportedly discontinued another device.
Rumors surrounding the release of a Galaxy S23 FE have been conflicting, with some claiming it will launch in 2023 while others suggest otherwise. However, according to the latest leak from Yogesh Brar, the phone will not be released at all. The cancellation is said to be due to Samsung’s focus on developing the tri-fold device instead.
Currently, there is not much information available about the upcoming tri-fold device from Samsung. However, this is not the first time that Samsung has showcased prototypes of such devices, which resemble more of a tablet than a phone when fully unfolded. It remains to be seen what the final product will look like and what features it will offer.
While we are excited about the possibility of a new type of foldable device, it’s important to acknowledge those who were anticipating the release of a Galaxy S23 FE, as they may be left disappointed.
