Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson continues to dominate the WNBA, achieving 4,500 career points in record time. Discover her journey to becoming one of the league’s top talents.
Bollywood Fever: The ascent of Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson in the WNBA has been nothing short of meteoric, cementing her status as one of the league’s premier talents.
Since being drafted first overall by the Aces in 2018, Wilson has evolved into a dominant force within the WNBA.
Her impressive list of achievements includes two-time champion, Finals MVP, two-time MVP, two-time Defensive Player of the Year, three-time All-WNBA First Team member, and Rookie of the Year.

On Friday, Wilson added another remarkable achievement to her résumé by reaching 4,500 career points. She scored 24 points in a tough loss against the Minnesota Lynx, bringing her current total to 4,511.
The 28-year-old Wilson expressed her gratitude for this milestone on her Instagram Story the following day, writing, “Top tier blessing.”
Wilson also reached this milestone in record fashion, achieving 4,500 points in just 217 games. This feat ties her with rival and New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart for the fastest to reach the mark in regular season history.

Known for her powerful yet graceful style of play, Wilson is a nightmare matchup for opponents on the offensive end.
She currently leads the league in scoring with a career-high 26.8 points per game and is also averaging career-bests in rebounds (11.7), steals (2.0), and blocks (2.6) per game—all of which are team highs. These impressive stats once again position her as a frontrunner for the MVP award.
Despite the Aces’ back-to-back championship wins, the team currently stands in fifth place with a 17-11 record. Wilson’s continued excellence will be crucial as the Aces strive to improve their standings.
