Andy Cohen suggests potential fresh faces for “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” responding to fan calls for a rebrand. Could RHONJ follow in the footsteps of RHONY’s cast switch-up?

Bollywood Fever: Andy Cohen has hinted at the possibility of bringing new faces to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (RHONJ) after a fan suggested it might be time for a rebrand during Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”

When a caller asked, “Is it not time for a rebrand?” Cohen swiftly responded, “Yes.” The fan went on to propose bringing fresh faces to RHONJ, similar to the cast overhaul seen in Season 14 of “The Real Housewives of New York City” (RHONY).

“I think it’s time to do what happened in New York, bring fresh faces in,” the caller suggested. They also praised Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda, who joined the RHONJ cast in Season 13, for their youthful energy and humor. “I love that they’re fresh and young,” the caller said. “They’re funny and … I love that there is positive energy.”

Agreeing with the fan’s sentiments, Cohen, 56, said, “We’re gonna figure something out. We are all on the same page about that.”

In addition to Cabral and Fuda, the latest season of RHONJ featured Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, and Jennifer Aydin. Jennifer Fessler appeared on the show as a “friend of” Fuda and Josephs.

Teresa Giudice, 52, has been a mainstay of RHONJ since its premiere in 2009, making her the longest-standing star of the series. For the past few seasons, the show has documented her ongoing feud with sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, who joined in Season 3 in 2011. The drama between the family members escalated when Giudice accused Melissa of infidelity, and tensions peaked when the Gorgas skipped Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas in August 2022.

Melissa Gorga, 45, also voiced her agreement with the need for a cast shake-up earlier this month. Speaking to “Entertainment Tonight,” she acknowledged that “things have gotten really toxic.”

The upcoming Season 14 of RHONJ will break from tradition by not having a “traditional reunion” due to the high drama among the cast members. In June, a source told Page Six that the tension between the “Housewives” was at an all-time high, stating, “Once viewers see the finale, the decision to forgo the traditional reunion will make even more sense.”

As fans await the new season, the possibility of fresh faces joining the RHONJ cast could bring a much-needed change and revitalization to the beloved Bravo series.
