Bollywood Fever: A tragic incident occurred in Kroev, a winemaking town on the Mosel River in western Germany, when part of a hotel collapsed, resulting in the death of one person and leaving several others trapped in the wreckage. The collapse happened around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting a significant emergency response.

At the time of the collapse, 14 people were inside the hotel. Five individuals managed to escape unharmed, but nine others were trapped within the building. By early Wednesday morning, authorities confirmed one fatality, although the body had not yet been recovered. Eight people were still believed to be trapped, with some sustaining serious injuries.

Hours later, rescue teams successfully pulled two women, a man, and a 2-year-old child from the rubble. The conditions of the rescued individuals were not immediately clear.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang and seeing a large cloud of dust at the time of the collapse. In response, authorities evacuated 31 people from the vicinity of the damaged building. The cause of the collapse remains unknown.

The rescue operation has been described as “an extremely demanding deployment” due to the precarious state of the building. Approximately 250 emergency workers, including drone specialists and rescue dogs, are involved in the ongoing efforts.

Kroev, a picturesque town near the larger resort area of Traben-Trarbach, has around 2,200 residents. The incident has shocked the local community, as authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collapse and ensure the safety of those still trapped.
