Sean “Diddy” Combs Removed From Suicide Watch Ahead of Sex Trafficking Trial
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been removed from suicide watch as he prepares for his sex trafficking trial. The rapper remains focused on his defense while facing serious charges.
BollywoodFever: Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been taken off suicide watch as he focuses on preparing for his upcoming sex trafficking trial. The music mogul, currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.
“He is focused and very strong,” Combs’ lawyer told People on Sunday, adding that the 54-year-old is concentrating on his defense. A source also confirmed that Combs has had visits from his family during his detention, where he is staying in a dormitory setting.

Combs was placed on suicide watch following his September 16 arrest after a judge denied him bail. Insiders at the time noted the decision was a precautionary measure, as his mental state was unclear. The US Department of Justice defines suicide watch as supervisory precautions for inmates who require frequent observation due to suicidal tendencies.
The charges against the Bad Boy Records founder stem from a broader indictment accusing Combs of running a criminal enterprise that allegedly involved sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, and bribery. Authorities executed raids on his Miami and Los Angeles homes, where they reportedly found drugs and over 1,000 bottles of lubricant.
Despite the serious accusations, Combs has pleaded not guilty. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, recently shared during TMZ’s documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment that Combs is “very eager to tell his story” and remains in a remarkably positive state of mind despite his circumstances.
This trial follows ongoing legal challenges for Combs. In November 2023, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and sexual abuse in a lawsuit, which was settled just a day after it was filed. While Combs denied the allegations, his legal team maintained that the settlement did not equate to an admission of guilt.
